A donation from this handmade pillowcase will go directly to the Women’s Empowerment Programme. The Women’s Empowerment Programme is comprised of a close-knit group of 20 women, from 3 villages, who are taught a wide range of skills to help make a living and provide education for their children. In addition to their skill training, which includes making products from recycled materials, sewing and safely creating liquid cleaning products, they are taught the value of being a good, honest person to better themselves and those around their community. We support their mission.
